The Brothers
The German company Suedwind Footwear, is operated and owned by two brothers, Henrik and Philip Holzapfel. Coming from a family with passion for horses and a family business history which was established in 1888, shaped their love and desire to work within equestrian and outdoor sports. Today they successfully run their own company, filling it with creative ideas. Focusing on a blend of modern style and traditions, they are paying respect to both the young and established riders. Suedwind Footwear was founded in 2009 for one reason – to offer technically advanced, durable, supremely comfortable footwear.

Suedwind Footwear is a young and experienced team. The products are designed and tested in Germany by individuals whose lives are built around sports, fashion, art, design and authentic equestrian culture. In 2015 Suedwind Footwear won the Innovation Award for the best product of the year at the spoga horse in Germany; the world’s largest trade show within the equestrian community.
